Our short film ‘The Last Vaquita’ has almost finished doing the festival rounds and we’ve picked up award laurels from a range of world-class film festivals, and the most exciting is yet to come…
We’re proud to say The Last Vaquita has been shortlisted for the International Ocean Film Festival 2022, amongst a line-up of 50+ other filmmakers who have given the ocean a voice through the power of independent film.
The film will be screening at the 19th Annual IOFF on April 7th – 10th 2022 (in-person) and April 11 – April 24, 2022 (virtual).
We are thrilled to be a part of this line-up of world-class films that raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of our oceans.
There are rumours that we will be attending the IOFF in San Francisco for a live Q&A with Sea Shepherd (but more about this another time…).
A huge shoutout to Sea Shepherd who continue to keep up the good fight, patrolling waters around the world as part of their global campaigns to protect marine species.
And to our own crew of passionate creatives, each one who has used their time and skills in the name of ocean conservation. This film wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless work of Luke Ripley, Max Smith, Tagore Chayne, Ben Pickles, Adam G.
And of course a massive thanks to all of our friends, family, followers and loyal customers who have believed and supported Under the Skin over the past seven years. We wouldn’t be here without you and appreciate your relentless ongoing support.
Stay tuned for our public release of the film which is dropping soon…
