Celebrating an iconic species that mates for life, this handcrafted screenprint helps to protect this seabird which is sadly threatened with extinction.
All 22 subspecies of Albatross are sadly getting decimated by industrial fishing, ocean plastics, invasive species and changing global temperatures. This interactive artwork has been created in partnership with the Albatross Task Force; an essential collaboration set up between RSPB and Birdlife International to protect this iconic seabird from the growing threats that currently plague our oceans.
This Wandering Albatross screenprint has been designed and hand-printed by Ed and James in a limited edition of just 30 prints. Printed on Fedrigoni 350gsm Freelife Cento, a carbon balanced paper which they create in collaboration with The World Land Trust.
Numbered and embossed, this interactive sixteen layer screenprint is comprised of fifteen layers of water based pigment ink, finished with one layer of phosphorescent ink.
